Our eyes are an important part of our overall health, and there are many things we can do to keep them healthy. These include getting a comprehensive dilated eye exam, knowing our family’s eye health history, maintaining a healthy weight, eating leafy green vegetables and foods high in omega-3 fatty acids, not smoking, using protective eyewear, and wearing sunglasses.
